1. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing in connection with this website and the CrateQuest app is Marcel Masuhr. The controller’s contact details, including address and email address, can be found in the Legal Notice. For privacy and support requests, please contact support@pushblocks.app.
2. General information
CrateQuest is a mobile box-pushing puzzle game. The app does not create its own user accounts, currently contains no advertising, no proprietary tracking or analytics tools and does not operate its own server for storing personal gameplay data.
3. Visiting this website
When this website is accessed, the hosting provider may automatically process technical access data. This may include the IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, amount of data transferred, browser type, operating system and the previously visited page. This data is required to provide the website technically, ensure system security and detect misuse.
Hosting provider: Cloudflare, Inc.
Cloudflare may process personal data of website visitors as part of providing, securing and optimizing this website, in particular IP addresses and technical access information. Cloudflare is used as a technical service provider to make the website available securely and reliably.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in the secure and stable provision of this website.
4. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons, this website should be delivered via HTTPS. An encrypted connection can be recognized by “https://” in the browser’s address bar.
5. Cookies, tracking and external services
According to the current status, this website does not use cookies, analytics tools such as Google Analytics, advertising networks, social media plugins, embedded YouTube videos or externally loaded Google Fonts.
If additional services are integrated in the future, this privacy policy will be updated accordingly.
6. Contact by email
When you contact support@pushblocks.app by email, your email address, the content of the message and any additional information voluntarily provided are processed in order to answer the request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the request relates to use of the app and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
7. Use of the CrateQuest app
Game progress, settings, completed levels, star ratings and unlocked content may be stored locally on the device. According to the current status, this data is not transmitted to me.
8. In-app purchases and Apple App Store
CrateQuest may offer paid expansions or in-app purchases. Payment processing is handled exclusively by Apple. I do not receive complete payment details such as credit card or bank details. Apple’s privacy policy and terms of use also apply to downloading, purchase processing, restoring purchases and use of the App Store.
9. TestFlight
When CrateQuest is tested via Apple TestFlight, the test version is provided and managed by Apple. Apple and the app developer may receive technical test information, feedback, screenshots, crash information or usage data insofar as this is provided via TestFlight or processed by Apple as part of the TestFlight service. Apple’s privacy policy also applies.
10. App Store reviews
The app may occasionally ask you to leave a review in the App Store. The review and the associated data processing are handled by Apple.
11. Storage duration
Personal data is stored only for as long as required for the respective purpose or as long as statutory retention obligations exist. Support requests are deleted as soon as they are no longer needed and no legal obligations prevent deletion.
12. Legal bases
Depending on the purpose, personal data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual or contractual measures, Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR for compliance with legal obligations and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on the basis of legitimate interests.
13. Your rights
Data subjects have the right, subject to statutory requirements, to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection to certain processing operations. If processing is based on consent, that consent can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.
14. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
Data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. In particular, the competent authority may be the supervisory authority at the data subject’s place of residence or the authority responsible for the controller.
15. Changes to this privacy policy
This privacy policy may be updated if the app’s functions, services used or legal requirements change.
